FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Do I have to attend all events?
A: No, but the registration fee includes Saturday Lunch, Saturday Dinner, and the People’s Choice Car Contest.

Q: Can I attend Saturday's daytime events only?
A: Yes, the car show, afternoon drives and lunch are available for a $35 per person registration fee.

Q: Can I just “tag along” on some drives without paying any fees?
A: NO, even if you do not eat or drink at the pre-paid activities, there are other costs, such as insurance and administrative expenses that are in the registration fees. It is not fair to the paid attendees to pay for activities that others receive for free. Note: Not only is this event non-profit, but, in an effort to keep the registration fees at a minimum, there usually is not enough money after expenses to reimburse the volunteers for their supplies and expenses.

Q: What is the cancellation / refund policy for the event?
A: Most activities are negotiated and pre-paid. Any cancellation after September 28 will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Not all events may be refunded.

Q: Will we have name tags?
A: Yes. Name tags will be required for all pre-paid activities, that include: Saturday Lunch and Dinner, Car Contest, and the optional wine-tasting after our lunch stop.

Q: Is lodging included in the registration fees?
A: No, Any and all hotel fees and services are the responsibility of the participants. See: “LODGING”.

Q: Do have to register for the event and the hotel separately?
A: YES. Register on the Pacific Sharkfest website for the event. Register on the Doubletree website for hotel lodging. See: “LODGING”.

Q: Do I have to pay for wine-tasting if I just want the tour?
A: Yes. The tour and wine-tasting are a negotiated package.

Q: Is there special parking for PSF?
A: Yes. There will be a parking lot at the Double Tree Hotel dedicated to PAID PSF registrants.

Q: Do I have to participate in the People’s Choice Car Contest?
A: ALL paid registrants are automatically entered in the contest. This year’s contest Is VERY different. IT is a ‘PEOPLE’S CHOICE” contest. The rules will be available at event registration.

Q: Is pre-registration necessary, and when does it close?
A: The only way to effectively plan the event depends on an accurate count of the number of participants. This is critical for food, parking spaces and all other logistics. The benefits of good planning will be shared by all. Pre-registration closes on Sunday, September 28, 2008. All pre-registration fees must be received by Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
